Detail : Built in 1897 by Martin, this was a showpiece organ. The core of the instrument - chests, soundboards and pipework - is of good quality. it was converted from tubular pneumatic to electro-pneumatic by Nicholson in the 1950s. The electrical wiring is now unsafe.
